- 26-27 September 2008, Celebrating 80 years of aviation 1928 - 2008 hosted by the Coffs Harbour & District Aero Club and Coffs Harbour Regional Airport. The flying displays will be on Saturday. - 4-5 October 2008, The Australian Aerobatic Club (NSW Chapter) will host the state aerobatic championships. All grades from entry to unlimited will be flying for State Champion status in each grade. - 19 October 2008, This is the FINAL event EVER at Hoxton Park Airport before it shuts forever on 15/12/08. Come one, come all, preferably FLY, but driving, riding or waling in are okay too. Please bring a plate of 'nibbles' to put on the table to share. This is the last time you will be ab le to fly in or out of Hoxton Park. Starts at noon and will go until sunset. - 15 November 2008, the annual Open Day for the Airways Museum, Essendon Airport and the launch of the photographic exhibition on the theme Aussie Propliners of the 1950s.
