Peter Finlay
Driving Instructor, photographer and aviation enthusiast
Peter Finlay is well known for his defensive driving and motor racing schools (visit his web site) which mostly operate from Oran Park and Wakefield Park Raceways.
Peter's interest in photography was partly inspired by a photograph Stewart Wilson took many years ago which Peter thought really caught the light and mood. At the time they were both working at Racing Car News magazine.
In the last two years Peter's photography interest has taken off . He has joined the digital brigade and joined a couple of photograph clubs. He is winning awards on a regular basis and has a special web site for his photographs.
Peter finds himself regularly travelling to aviation events to represent AERO Australia and enjoy his aviation interest.
Like many of us Peter's father was a member of the RAAF which started his interest in aviation. Peter held a commercial pilot's licence and enjoyed flying until time became too valuable in the driving school.
