We'd like to show you a photograph of our talented art director and provide you with details of his background, but unfortunately the normally good-natured young Mathew refused to co-operate. Perhaps he was just playing the 'temperamental artiste', or maybe he's on the run from Interpol and doesn't want his face and details made public.
One thing we can tell you is that in his spare time, Mat is the drummer in a band. This means that on one or two days of the year - like when the Moon is in the Seventh House and Jupiter aligns with Mars - he can actually count to four without having to ask for outside assistance!
When he's in the recording studio Mat is no different to any other drummer - no matter how many recording tracks are available, he'll want half of them, although asking for more than four can be a problem on days not covered by the conditions noted above.
Mat also has an alternative name - Mad James Cash - obtained from a website that gives you a 'pseudonym' after you type your real name in. No comment is necessary on this, but Mat vehemently denies he got onto it by accident while looking for a mail order bride website.
Despite these impediments, Mat has played a very large part in AERO's success with his excellent designs and ideas. He is an integral part of the creative team and is a rarity in that he actually understands the meaning of the word 'deadline'.
We love him, but we're curious to know why he's on the run from Interpol!
